There’s no bad time to get ice cream when you live in the Tampa Bay Area. When you get a craving for the sweet stuff, make sure you get something good. Check out some of the best places to get ice cream in the area and enjoy!
Bo’s Ice Cream
Located in Old Seminole Heights on North Florida Avenue, Bo’s has been serving up ice cream since 1954. You don’t stay in business that long by giving out bad cones! You can follow Bo’s on Facebook or Instagram or head on over and get yourself something sweet to eat.
You can find a Yogurtology all over the Tampa Bay area including Carrollwood. Think of Yogurtology has frozen yogurt times ten. Not only can you mix and match flavors to make your own, you’ve got so many toppings to choose from. You almost have to go back several times, and you still won’t be able to try every single combination of flavor and topping.
Another one of the older ice cream places in the Tampa Bay area, Dairy Kurl is located on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater. When you’re craving soft serve or custard, this is where you want to go.
Drive down Alternate 19 through Pinellas County and when you get to Palm Harbor, make sure to stop at Dairy Rich. If you need lunch or dinner, you can grab a burger, but what you really need is some ice cream. From every flavor of milkshake you can imagine to a Lime Float that will make you give up root beer floats for good, they have some of the best ice cream creations around.
