If you’re new to the Westchase area, make sure you take advantage of the local parks when your kids need to burn off a little energy.

Baybridge Park

Renovated in early 2016, Baybridge Park offers plenty of play equipment for kids of all ages. The main playground is for kids 5 to 12, while your little ones can hang out in the toddler area. The equipment is brand new and the ground underneath is rubberized. Adult fitness equipment is available if you want to use the time to get your own workout in while you’re there. Pavilions are available for rent through the Westchase Community Development District office if you want to plan a family barbecue or a birthday party.

Village Park

Located in West Park Village, Village Park is the newest addition to Westchase. It includes a splash park and a toddler area for your little ones to have fun in a safe place. Grab a quick lunch or a coffee and don’t forget to get some pictures of your kids having a blast.

While not technically a park for small children, enough of us think of our dogs as “fur babies” that Logan Gate Dog Park had to go on the list. With two separate areas for small and large dogs, you can let your pooch off the leash to run off their own pent-up energy, while you sit back and relax. Water fountains are available for people and dogs, and there are shelters when it gets too hot.
